“This is the Book (the Quran), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun. Who believe in the Ghaib….” (Quran 2:1-2)
One of the characteristics of a true believer is that he has faith in the unseen. We believe in Allah, His Messengers, His Books, His Angels, the Day of Resurrection and our Destiny (Al Qadr). But it’s only after we leave the realm of this world that some veils are lifted from our eyes and we begin to see things we could never imagine before.
In this world, it is our test to have faith in what Allah, the Almighty, has informed us through the Quran and through His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). In fact, The Messenger of Allah once said, “I wish I could meet my brothers.” The Prophet’s companions said, “Are we not your brothers?” The Prophet said, “You are my companions, but my brothers are those who have faith in me although they never saw me.”
